Every year, the number of pleasure boats attracted to Kortrijk increases sharply.

Kortrijk therefore has many assets that entice the boat tourist to moor his boat right in the historic city center for more than one day.

Since 2017, Kortrijk has been part of the UNESCO creative cities, quite an honor. That creativity is not only reflected in the many events but also in the city itself.

The Lys, which flows through the city like a lifeline, regained its place in the lives of Kortrijk's residents. Hotspots on the waterfront such as the lowered Leieboorden and Buda Beach, but also beautiful bridges that further highlight the city's creative character.

Historic buildings, a city in change full of hidden spots and vibrant atmosphere. There is more than one reason to visit our creative city on the Lys.

The creativity of the people of Kortrijk is expressed not only in culture, design and architecture but also in gastronomy. Witness the many restaurants with an excellent Gault & Millau rating. Gourmets and epicureans have come to the right place in Kortrijk.
