Since 2010, Urban Golf Kortrijk has been organising public days and team building activities around this rebellious form of golf. The course is not a meticulously manicured green but the city itself. Your group receives a brief introduction to golf and then sets off through the city under supervision. The organisers know Kortrijk like the back of their hands and are happy to reveal the city's more unfamiliar places to you. The route is always tailored to the participants, so that you can link the start or end location to another activity. The route's duration can also be adapted.
Urban Golf Kortrijk provides one golf club per participant (also for left-handed participants) and plenty of Almost Golf balls. You don't need to know anything about golf or Urban Golf. Anyone can play this sport, regardless of their aged.
Price: The price depends on the number of participants, the duration of the route and time. A tailor-made quotation is always provided.

The Astrid Park owes its name to Queen Astrid's visit to Kortrijk on 5 April 1935, but the park has actually existed for a lot longer. On 14 June 1931, a monument was inaugurated in the French garden in honour of the mayor August Reynaert. Two semicircular arbours of American linden trees flank the main entrances. The statues of the two stone lions, which have decorated the entrance to the Astrid Park since 1907, have recently been renovated. They are epoxy replicas since the original statues were too badly damaged after having braved the elements for over a hundred years. The local Overleie residents were allowed to choose the lions' colour. The result is clearly a triumph because with their striking yellow colour the proud lions are definitely an eyecatcher.
